First i see that Jayrob has passed, condolences to the family. He was a great contributor to this hobby!
I had him build me a drop in probably 10 years ago now, this thing has been a work horse and has never had a single hiccup.
So im here now looking for input on my misfortune of luck. I dropped this light in the lake at about 3-4 ft deep, recovered it within 5 minutes. But it managed to get a little water inside thru the switch button.
The board corroded pretty quickly, and now really only works on Med setting, on High itll start flashing after about 10-15 seconds. I changed the switch guts to rule that out and fresh batteries, but i believe the board is too far gone now.
I ordered a new driver from Lumencraft thats rated 3000mA, i just want to make sure this is the correct driver for the XML that i have before i tear it all apart.
Any input is appreciated.
