I just came across some interesting 2200mAh NiMH AA batteries for sale at zbattery.com. Let me state right away that I really don't use NiMH in my flashlights and am not aware of the state-of-the-art battery of this type, but based on some other posts I've read it sounded like this capacity was quite good.

Anyway, just wanted to let folks know this existed, in case it might be helpful to some.

I don't know how good MAHA 2200ma would be comparing with Sanyo 2100ma. It's a little less than $10 for 4 pack Sanyo MiMH AA 2100ma in Hong Kong.

Not worth it to me. Not when I can get 2000s or 2100s for $2 or less per cell. Battery Station has 2000s for $2 (x 10) including shipping. Sunn Battery has Nexcell 2100s (I haven't seen the price yet)

T-Rex, I wish it were HK$. Unfortunately, it's not. To be exact, it is HK$73 (US$9.36) for 4 packs. If someone offer you HK$10 (US$1.28) for 4 packs of Sanyo NiMH AA 2100ma, don't get it. It got to be fake:)

I've got 4 of them which I charge in a Maha 401FS. Great charger and great batteries. They power my GPS ALMOST as long as alkalines. Much better than the 1800's I was using before.
I got better than 14 hours out of 2 2200's in my Etrex versus around 6 hours from my 1800's. The 1800's are not maha and that makes a difference though. I believe maha(powerex) makes the best NiMH out there currently.

I have been using Powerex and GP 2000's. Have not noticed difference yet. I am wondering if they are any advantage when used in a regulated light. I am testing as I type in a supercharged LSH-P, Flash modded for me. Got a little over one hour at full brightness with GP's. Am now running with Costco AA's (2AA battery pack). Finished a run with GP's in MM (not+), and got 3 hours, plus a few minutes at full brightness. I will run MM later with alkalines to test. Bill
