Major Scare yesterday/Today

So, Yesterday I had to mail my Tri-V back to Dave, and in CPF fashion, my EDC for the day was then my SPY007.
So, I tucked it in my briefcase ( Saddleback leather), as it has a perfect pocket for it.
Briefcase into my trunk & off to work I go.
I had to hit the brakes & the case tumbled. Didnt' think much of it till I got home.
Looking for my SPY. Not in the pocket, not in my case. CRAP
Out to the car. Not in the trunk. CRAP
Thinking, must be on my desk at work.
Get to work this am. NOT THERE - CRAP
Back through my case. NOTHING

Which file was in my case yesterday?

Go to "filing" and luckily, there was my light, tucked way down in the papers of the file I had with me at home.
Little bit of panic was running through me thinking it fell out between me parking yesterday morning & getting into the office.
All is well again.
Droid will now be used to secure my SPY during transit.

Wow, my heart was racing just reading this. Had to cheat and run to the end to see the happy ending. Whew. :thumbsup:

On the saddleback leather cases, they have a tether with a clip on it. I was using that for my office keys, as I always bring the case to the office.
I have moved them off this clip, and now I clip that onto my EDC.
Priorities I say. I can always replace the office keys.
And if today is an example of a typical work day, I wouldn't mind being locked out of my office.:sick2:
