Making a lightforce 240 blitz better

I own a handheld lightforce 240 blitz.
The light is good, but I reckon it could be better.
Asides from converting it to a HID setup, are there any tips to make it brighter??
I solely run it off a 12V car battery setup through the accessory connection or directly off the battery.

Running on 12V remote power, about the only thing to increase performance is going to be an HID convention....but, it's a big increase.
