Malkoff M60L Runtime/Output

Greetings everyone,

It's funny how in under 24 hours of being a member on this forum, I'm already looking to mod out my G2 flashlight with a Malkoff drop in. :D

I have a quick newbie question about the Malkoff M60L:

It states that it will run for approx. 4 1/2 hours. Is that at full 140 lumen output for 4 1/2 hours and then a drop...or is that total "useful light" runtime?

I ask because the site also states that the Malkoff M60LL runs 8 hours at full 80 lumen output...so does that mean I can expect the same 4 hour or so 140 lumen with the M60L in my G2 with CR123's?

You got it right..


The M60L will be 140 lumens for about 4 hours with no niticeable drop in output. It is the cool thing about the Malkoff M60L.

All Malkoff's runtime are the regulated runtimes. Any moon modes after that are not counted.

On that note, the M30 running on an 18650 goes from full brightness to nada, so be ware. That caught me recently at a very inconvenient time.
