I'm hoping that some one can clear up the high low switch in the MD2.
I understand the physical switch of the high low, being the spring or wire for low and the whole "body" of the switch being high. My question is the "dropin" be the M61 or what ever you use is already a regulated unit. Obviously the switch delivers either a lower current or some kind of PWM to the dropin. I'm guessing it's a lower current from the switch and that the dropin is designed to run as a "direct drive" when the voltage/amperage is lower than a preset level. Thus when anything delivered to the dropin is below this regulation threshold the circitry in the dropin allows the led to run at what ever it's being fed?
Am I correct or WAY off?
