T01 Ⅱ add a stainless steel bezel on the head.
T01 Ⅱ add a lanyard hole on the tailcap.
T01 Ⅱ are compatible with AA and 14500 batteries.
CW and NW for your choices.

I'd be interested in a NW 2xAA light from Manker, too.

If they can get 500lm from a single AA NiMH cell, 2xAA should be good for 800 lumens or so. There's more than one manufacturer producing single-AA lights with 500 lumen outputs, but there seems to be a complete gap in the market when it comes to high output 2xAA lights.

I like the 2xAA form-factor for its length, which I find easier to hold securely, especially when wearing gloves. 800 lumens in a 2xAA light would be amazing, even at the price of reduced runtime relative to LiIon cells, and I could still use primary cells in lower modes if I had to.

Nice upgrades!
Is there going to be a silver version of this light?

Manker you know you appeal to Flashaholics...why not do this one in a Nichia 219 ??

I bought the t01 II under the notion that it will work with protected 14500 battery (in my case, orbtronic 14500). Boy, was I wrong. T01 is exactly the same as the previous version beside the tailcap lanyard loop and the pressed stainless steel bezel. The "updated" version will not accept protected 14500, only unprotected ones that have the same length as AA batteries.

One thing I did noticed is that the new version seems to drive the LED's harder. Using the same eneloop battery, I tested the two versions in my rough ceiling bounce test. In this test, I used an android app that measures lux via the smartphone light sensor. Results yielded a slightly higher lux reading on the t01 II compared to the original t01.

That being said, I am still disappointed with the fact that the flashlight will not accept protected 14500 cells, in my case orbtronic 840mah 14500. Granted, the new model is cheaper than the old version so it has that as a saving grace.

Manker, if you are reading this, I implore that you make the necessary changes on t01 wherein the flashlight will be able to accept 14500 batteries that are 52mm + in length.

Has Manker fixed the missing one click to low mode feature in T01 II?
This is a must-have for campers and is there in pretty much every other model.

My T01 ii always comes on in lowest mode with a short click. A long click will go to last used level, I like that user can choose simply with short or long click.

Manker, is there a trick to getting the tailcap springs and contact out? I just bought another and it was DOA until I figured out I had to put a spacer in the tailcap for it to make contact.
