I have a Vanson slow charger, rated 75 mA @2.4V. With this charger, how much time to charge a set of 2500 mAh battery?

Hi there,

Wow, only 75ma? Yeah 50 or so hours sounds like it, but you realize
that is over 2 days right?

Most modern chargers put out a lot more current than that.

The timed charge is generally to 160% of capacity at 0.1C, so it may even be longer there at 0.03C. On the bright side, this is below the maximum recommended trickle charge of 0.05C for NiMH...

Hello again,

Yes 75ma is REALLY low. The lowest i have ever charged 2000mAh cells
(not 2500mAh) is at 90ma but for all day long, 7 days a week, without
taking them off for more than about 5 minutes for any given day.
They seem to get charged but then i never did any extensive tests either.

Does voltage matter? This charger has 2.4V output. My other chargers have 1.2V & 1.4V output.
