I just ordered a Maratac Copper AA Flashlight REV 4
can the modes be reversed? hi-med-low? or can the low be deleted so it would be med-high or high-med?

No. Not really.

ok then I have 1 last idea. can the light be altered to direct drive for just high? can the led take a fully charged battery? meaning eneloop. would it be dimmer or not work at all because of no boost driver? if direct driven would it run on a li-ion? sorry if I sound so ignorant but I figured the only stupid question is the one you don't ask.

Well. You can't direct drive eneloop, you do need a boost driver.

The pill fits a 14.5mm wide driver and is fairly deep (7.7mm) so if you find something that fits you can make it work.

It's not hard to fit a driver with m-l-h modes. I think thorfire has lights with m-h-l modes so if there is no memory that could work for you. It may require a bit of modding work but you can certainly find something.

If you are okay with just running Li-on you can get a fet driver that's 12mm and is somewhat programmable (Guppydrv will give you the modes you want).
