Well the emmitter is made by Cree. Cool white to my eyes it's like 6000k. It's a somewhat a little floody to me since unless I'm close to a wall I am unable to see a pronounced hot spot. Awesome for lighting a larger area of light. Got this for this exact reason.
what type of pictures are you interested in ?

Looks like there's a ding under the clip, about an two rings up. Maybe I could get a sharper look. And the screws look a bit rough. These could all be the resolution, so something a bit closer could help me.

Did the price drop again from $380?

Bump. Folks, this is an AMAZING deal. You'd pay this just for a host without light engine from Don. If I were not reducing my herd I'd have to really consider this.
