I was thinking of delaying the meeting by a month or so.

That way - it will get dark earlier - I don't know when daylight savings ends - but I think this would be a better idea.

Any probs with this?

Yeah, I'm in favour of delaying it a bit. More time for me to save up the airfares/accom, and hopefully the fares would be cheaper being "off-peak" (when is that BTW?) :?

i ordered scorpion just now from meridian, it takes about 1-2 weeks i think to get here.
i heard you got SC as well. so hows the beam? have you compare it with any SF 2X123 lights?

Heh, kalengkong, I envy you and your 9AN. And Geoff is the one with possibly $AU5K worth of Surefire goodness!

The number of torches in my collection can still be counted on the fingers of both hands. As for the Scorp, it's yet to arrive. Was sent a couple of days ago from PlayboyJoeShmoe (in Tx) so should be here about the same time you get yours from Meridian. When that arrives, and I get back my SF G2 from my cousin (I let her "borrow it") compare 'em. Expect the Scorp to be brighter than a P60.

As for the meet - how about around the Easter break for those at uni (Kalengkong) to fit in their schedule?
