Hi,
Have a PS2E solder station that worked well then stopped after I rolled my chair with me in it over the handpeice lead a few times.
Handpiece is the STSS RM3E, I spoke with the at Metcal/OKI before it broke and understood handpiece and tips where backward and forward compatible.
Got MX RM3E new and the unit still won't work.
On the unit is two LED's green and yellow. With STSS hand piece both LED's light. With the MX hand piece and tip inserted into it powering on the unit only the green LED lights but the tip won't get hot.
Will call OKI tomorrow thought someone here might have experience with it and quick answer.
