My 4 y.o. K2000R Warrior II K1 battery pack died a few month ago. This was pretty disappointing since I only really had about 3 or 4 charging cycles from the light. Instead of purchasing another K1 battery, I was thinking of just using the 8xCR123 pack that I bought with the light.
Anyone know whether I can safely use 4 Li-On cells(18650s) to power the light? Also, has anyone taken the K1 battery back apart and replace the cells?
