Mod for a Mag-lite 4D?

I've had this Mag-lite 4D in my cupboard for almost 7 years now. Still untouched. Would like to modify it the easy way (LED, HID, anything), but all the drop in mods I see nowadays seem to involve 3C or anything other than 4D. Any options for me, and how much would they cost? Thank you.

I would use WA01183 potted on PR base and 4 NiMH
You will love it's brightness.
Since produced temperature is extremely high, I would suggest use Carely aluminum reflector and glass lens.

The Sandwich Shoppe has what you want for the 2AA MiniMag. You might want to get a Mineral Glass Lens and a Kroll Tailcap Switch while your there.
