Hello, folks. I'm an intermittent reader here, but have never posted before. I sell a lot of the X1s to my co-workers on the Fire and Rescue Department that I work at- we like them because the beam is very focused and carries a long way. Now that they are making them with a wider beam, I'm looking for ways to keep the old ones running.
We sometimes have issues with the switches, which is apparently aggravated with battery wear or even size. The light needs to be jarred, tapped, or the battery changed to get it running again. Can anyone tell me how to repair or tune the switch inside?
Anyone know of a source or stockpile of the old, spotlight ones? How about a source for the holsters, which are no longer provided either?
Thanks for your help! Regan
