I'm looking to build the most efficient 1x18650 light I can manage, so I need to know what puts out more light for a given amount of energy. I know the XP-G is the most efficient single-die LED out there (or at least it was a few months ago). Instead, as far as I know the MC-E and P7 still use the old-style die of the previous generation, but they have four of them, so they get vastly underdriven at a global 1A, and thus more efficient. Only question is, what's more efficient - a single XP-G or a four-die?
