MR16 Gx5.3 PR base lamps, what angles are available?

Had a look in my local household lights store at a range of the above lamps. Found out that they had the 20W, 35W and 50W only. In the 20W and 35W range all were only 36º or 38º depending on the brand while in the 50W range there were angles from 36º to 60º. Are there any brands that are narrower than the 36º ? ........I feel that even this angle is quite wide.

there are tons of them out there, some with much tighter beams, some up to well over 100W (medical/scientific/projector/oddball applications).

With a compatible bi=pin adapter on a mag they drop right in and take care of the need for upgraded glass and reflector all in 1 cheap easy step. The KIU bi-pin socket/tower is ideal.

Thanks for the information, so now I know that there are 35W, 10, 12, 23, 36, 38, 47 degree and greater lamps on this site alone. At least I know what to ask for here in our stores.......Yes I have seen the Kiu as well as the fivemega bi-pin sockets on here. I just have to find a Maglite that will take 5x AW C size Li-ion cells comfortably without being too long......btw, which of these angles is a good mix of spot and flood to make the most of the lumens available.....I was thinking of the 23º lamp, what do you think.....

A stock 5C Mag with one of the wide tailcaps, or with a spring-shortened stock tailcap, will take 5xAW Li-Ion C cells.

I've seen MR16's with beam spread as narrow as 7 Degrees.
