Hi all, I have this light mounted to my bicycle handle bars and when ever I go over a bump it changes modes until it get to "medium" then it stays there. For example I set the light to flash, hit a bump it goes to SOS then to medium or I start the light off in "Low" then hit a bump and it goes to High then quickly to blinky then SOS and stops at medium.

I just got the light and the question is, do you think that the change in modes is due the battery sliding back and forth or do to a faulty tailcap switch.

If you think it is the battery can you recommend a replacement flashlight?

For it to change modes you need to break the circuit and remake it within a short space of time, which suggests that it is the battery that is moving about - maybe stretch the spring a little more
