I read up on how to strip anodizing and decided to give it a try. I let the parts soak in draino for a few minutes and lightly polished with a dremel.

I just wanted to share, I think it looks awesome!

That body looks familiar....

I like it!
How easy was it to get the anodizing off?
About how long did you soak it?

I went in 5-minute increments (scrubbing under the faucet between dunkings)for a total of 20 minutes for the E1E head. the tail took 15 minutes. It's the P series reverse clicky tail cap from DX and it fits and works great. I'm glad you like it. I'm excited to own a rare custom body. Thanks for making this one. :)
like the glow ring under the glass?
The e-head is fitted with a EO-E1R.

I use to strip anodizing from paintball guns years ago :D
but I used caustic soda, eats through the anodizing in minutes but be careful it does not eat through the aluminum as well.

IMO Wai`s way of doing it works real good...!

I`ve done this numerous of times and it`s realy all about watching the HA come off...
Just before it ALL comes off you take it out and give it a nice polish and if all HA is not off give a soak again.....

KEY: Watch it....

It takes just a few minutes with the right mix.....
