My Nitecore doesnt work (fixed, dead battery)

It worked fine yesterday but it will not stay on know. If you unscrew the head then screw it back on the led lights dimly for a second then fades out. Pushing and or holding the button does nothing. The battery is at 2.9 volts so it should still have plenty of power.

Are You using lithium ion batteries?

What model nitecore do you have?

2.9v open circuit sounds like a dead battery, especially if it's Li-Ion

For lithium ion batteries, 2.9 volts is dead.
Just change battery.

It is an ex-10. Dont have much experience with lithiums, I figured it would go lower than that.
