My Surefire M1-A2 Cree Hybrid

Here is a Surefire M1 body and A2 Aviator Head Hybrid that I did. The A2 head fit perfect on the M1 Illuminators head threads. I used a Uni-Bit to drill out the stock reflector as well as opening up the M1 body to fit the Cree light engine. I used a 4" angle grinder with a sanding wheel to carefully remove material from the relector to make it fit. As you can see in the pics, the bezel is just shy of screwing down completely. It is a very nice looking light....:cool:
I still need to spend some time figuring out my new camera, but beamshots aren't really needed.

Just something you don't see everyday.......

I was expecting something like a Cree in the center surrounded by 3 white/color LEDs in a A2 head on the M1 body.

Either way, I think it looks better then the stock M1.
