hehe! Flashlight Solutions Rocks!

I had to add a base for a new contact spring. I use a piece of copper wire to solder in the baord original spring, a bored out copper push pin as a ledge/base and a new spring. These were soldered this way:

Hope you liked it...Kostas

sweet! don't own any surefires yet, they're very expensive in singapore and not sure if they allow exports out of the US

I did the exact same thing, but I used a copper rivet with the thin part pushed inside the original spring, and the new spring soldered to the flat part. Although I didn´t get the driver to function reliably... something in the IC that kept it flickering after a short while:mecry:

Nice set ups kosPap.. neatly done and well kept. I'm not so organise as u..:ohgeez:

hyperloop - Don't bother, I already ask a lot of online merchants and they say they have a tie down with Surefire not to send out of the US. U can ask kind souls here to purchase and send to u. I ask once or twice.. but as for warranty...

precisely the warranty issue is why I have no surefire clickies...The Surefire service and worst than that the product line (let alone prices) is non existend in Greece...

The C2 was purchased by a friend in teh military from an AAFRESS shop in Kosove, the 6P from an ebay store....

Scattergun I did not think of your method. maybe besause I cannot easily find unusal parts in Greece.

Yesterday I traveled to a large city and took soem time to visit a home&garden & tools store.(Leroy Merlin) Boy for the first time i saw bins of unsual screws and nails and i kept filling ziplocs with stuff!

enjoy, Kostas
