NDI Safety lock

Hi,

I've just received an NDI Silver as a father's day gift. I read the manual and found that this light is supposed to have a safety lock feature that prevents the light to be turned on when the rear cap is twisted half a turn. I tried and this feature does not work. It is not that I need it, but I am curious if anyone has the same issue.

The silver NDI does not have that feature, only the anodized NDI's. That specific point is addressed in the sales thread in the MP.

Thank you, I supposed something like that, since the manual included seemed to be for the anodized version.

Wow, I did not know that. Thanks Marduke. I would never buy this version now. I must have a lockout for a pocket light with a switch.
