Hey peeps! I have a modded Nitecore TM06 with a set of 4 unlabeled 18650s. I was given the light and cells as a gift. Those 18650s are starting to bite the dust though. I want some new ones, but not sure I can/want to swing 70+ dollars for a set of nice 3400mAh Olight cells right now or something similar. What are some good cost effective yet high quality flat tops out there that are also I'm assuming the necessary flat-tops that could work with a TM06?

Should I go with something like these: http://www.batteryjunction.com/nitecore-nl186.html or can I do better do you think? Or maybe these: http://www.batteryjunction.com/nitecore-nl183.html Those are much cheaper, but have way less capacity.

Martin, unless you modify the tail cap with soldering buttons on the positive contacts, you're stuck with a button topped cell.

I soldered two .187 x.125 tall magnets to the pads for contacts.

One of my TM06's has Keeppower 3400's, and the Vinh modified light has Sanyo 3500 GA's.
