Im looking for a decent single cr123a light for lanyard(around the neck) carry. I need something with decent output and a rear clicky is a must. Extra points if the light comes in a silver color. Any input would be appreciated.

Easy-peasy. Go to shiningbeam.com or dealextreme.com(although I recommend shiningbeam.com but it is a bit more money), and check out the romisen rc-c3, romisen rc-a4 and romisen rc-n3. I think the rc-c3 is what you are looking for, the a4 is more tactical, but the rc-n3 is worht considering too since it gives you the option of 1xcr123 or 2xAA.

If you want to just look at a twisty light, the ITP A1 is up your alley.

Lastly it is well above your budget and not a clicky, but the quark mini 123 is one of my favorite lights right now and it comes with an awesome lanyard and it is not what I would consider too pricy at 36 bucks when discounted. It also comes with a battery. I personally think that the rc-c3 is what you're looking for though. It comes in silver too!

The rc-c3 is a twisty and also has no good way to attach a lanyard. Im thinking about the ultrafire a20.

My apologies not thinking at all.

Then I would recommend just recommend the rc-n3. You can get the nicer version from shiningbeam for just over 20 or the dx version for under 20. It comes with a lanyard so there is def a place to attach one although it is admittedly pretty small. It has the option for both 2xAA or 1xcr123, I'm pretty sure it can handle rcrs as well.

I am also very fond of my romisen rc-c6 if you like flood to throw ashperics. It also has a place to attach a lanyard and is 1xcr123 and under 20 bucks. I got mine off of kaidomain for like 16.50. It is a little bigger though because of the optics, but still small imo.

EDIT: just remember I got my rc-29 from KD. I think DX has the rc-c6 though. I got mine from shiningbeam in WW.

Id second the itp A1 EOS. It is about 24 bucks, minus 10% discount from goinggear, so its in range.

It can use a CR123, RCR123 or 16340. It is a twisty which I like because it won't come on in your pocket.

Its the smallest CR123 light that I know of, 2.3 inches long, 0.8 inch diameter. It has 3 modes, a 2, 30, 200 lumen. Good flood, nice beam, and definitely wearable on your keychain (though it does come with a removable clip).

I love mine. Nice white light.
