I need one of these multi LED lights that put out an insane amount of light for an LED. Cost under 200 bucks and run on either a couple or a few CR123's of a couple 18650's. Size not really an issue. Who has one and can recommend me one? Thanks

How about buying the MC-E pill for the Deerelight DBS that you already have instead of buying a whole new flashlight?

Just buy the textured reflector and the MC-E pill. Add an extension tube if you want to run 2x18650. For $72 (less with the CPF discount), you can get the pill, the correct reflector, and an extension tube.

I also recently bought the EagleTac M2XC4 which has three R2's. A few small issues (not truly watertight, quirky and sensitive switch mechanism) prevent me from recommending it completely, but it certainly performs very very well.

Thanks Yucca.....I already tried the MC-E pill for my DBS and was just not that impresses. So I changed it back for throw. I really wand a 700 or 800 lumen LED. For instance the Wolfeyes Rattlesnake has caught my eye!!!!

Being playing with a lot of them, I really likes the M30, but that is for the small size and high power, but some people has issues with the pwm.
The M2C4 is also very good, but it has a battery problem.

I have a 2.4A MC-E Dereelight pill in my DBS with the new XR-E OP reflector (it's a lighter OP than the original OP DBS reflector). I found it kept up fine with the other throwy MC-E lights, and beat many of the other MC-E lights that are so-so when it comes to throw. I didn't get a chance to compare my 2.1A MC-E pill though. I don't know if Alan will sell a 2.4A MC-E pill if you contact him and ask. You have to be careful not to run it for too long on high as it might over heat.

I've heard the 2.1A MC-E for the DBS/CL1H is rated around 500 out the front lumens by MrGman. If that's the case, you won't see a big difference with the other MC-E lights that are putting out 600-740 lumens. They will be only slightly brighter. It mainly comes down to the reflector as far as how it will throw, etc. For example the original DBS OP reflector gave me around 10,000-11,000 lux (on my meter), and the new XR-E OP reflector was more in the 18,000LUX range (I think, I have to test again).

The beam doesn't look as good with the lighter OP reflector, but the beam from the other throwy MC-E lights look equally as bad.

Certainly somebody has a recommendation for me to blow some money on:D I am expecting some Obama Stimulus Money to come my way!!!!

Which reminds me.......what happened to all that money that was suppose to turn this country around?

For highest output, there are two lights currently available: the Legion II, and M2X.

L2, you may have to wait ona bit. So by the time your stimulis money comes through, you can purchase it. The M2X currently has the highest throw of the high output lights and also is proving to put out the most lumens.

However, MrGman needs a sample to test for us to confirm.

Any FoxFury Tac-Fire light put more out-the-front lumens than either the M2X and even more than the mighty Legion-II. I don't know about throw, though.

Yeah...........but generally, when someone is looking for more lumens, they don't desire it contained in a flood type delivery system.

A tighter spot will be the most impressive and 'maybe' satisfy the brightness craving. Won't it?

The upcoming " Pilot Whale" from Wolf-Eyes will be worth waiting for. ( June, I think) 1000lmns, Ostar 6 die, 3 18650's. Someone said between 200-300. Should be impressive!
