Need another Thrower Big Gun Light !

Right now i have a Boosted Trustfire X6, an Olight SR90, and a 50 Watt HID ThorX. All as my three biggest thrower Guns. I want to add another Big Gun Thrower to that collection.
What would be your suggestions and links to good prices on them ? One i have been concidering is a Fenix TK70.
Any other good top throwers on your lists ? :candle:

Top LED thrower is the DEFT-X for now, alt 900,000 lux at 1m, for comparison the Thor is only around 500,000 lux at 1m, depending on the way its measured. The best throwers are the short-arcs, have a look at a Maxabeam Gen 3 for example, at 8,000,000 lux. Not too many commercial portable short-arcs around, the others are all more expensive. You can however get your Thor modded, it's a great host and you can look at Ra's maxablaster for some inspiration, at 52,000,000 lux.

Why not head on over to the one stop throw shop. Plenty of throwers there, or you could wait a while for the DEFT-X.

I have the Mr Mayhem FS on BST, about 2x the throw of SR90, but half the size, with unlimitted ramping modes.

it's from SR95 UT host, over driven to 10 amp, with the original big die SBT-90 led, a beast search light in small size not a skinny beam toy.

The Thor i have is already modded with a short-arc lamp and new ballast.

Well then you can look at getting an upgraded rhodium plated reflector (very expensive), a 150W and up short-arc bulb and ballast but other then that you've already got the cutting edge of portable throwers.

I have been thinking about going all out with it, and modding it with a 400 Watt Metal-Halide Arc-tube lamp i currently have kicking around. Only problem is the Ballast i have needs 120 AC volts to run. The ThorX would be much heavier and more complex if i used that with an Inverter and High capacity Gel-Cell, but it would be powerfull. :whistle:
