need from help for power led controller

hi all
i need help from power led controller circuit with microswitch .

When i push one - i have low power
push again - i have medium power
push again - i have maximum power
push again - the power led it`s turn off

Or whether have a circuit with 2 microswitch :
One switch is for this function who i give UP - 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 like succession.
Other switch is for function - but in back succession - 4 , 3 , 2 , 1
for more easy use .

Ihave 2 piece luxeon who need from ( 4V / 1A ) each.
and i need from help for battery who use :
Ni-Mh or Li-Ion
i use this Luxeon led for my bicycle .

give me help - pls

Maybe you should ask a moderator to move this question to the bicycle lighting forum? I think you will get help there that is more targeted to your application.

seems to me its a question about electronics and it just happens to be applied to a bike lite thus electronics seem like the right place to me...

If you start out by asking for really basic help building a circuit...it means you are being too ambitious in trying to build that circuit.

So when you are stuck at the very beginning like that it is better to seek ready made solutions to your problem, and the bike forum is where more people will have ready made solutions for bicycle lighting to suggest.

you do have a good point..


on my first read i took it to mean he was looking for a driver solution that would meet certain requirements.. I will admit that it seems English is not their native tongue so i didn't Analyze it quite as closely as perhaps i could have..

best of luck finding something that will work for you either way.

ohh and when in doubt go NiMH the new LSD "low self discharge" Cells are great and can handle a pretty good load..

when you purchase a ready made solution it will have instructions on what type of battery to use and may even have a battery pack included.
