I'm going on a trip in a few weeks and want to take my E2D, but it doesn't fit my 17670s. The first 70% of the tube from the head end fits fine, but the last 30% or so seems to have a step not allowing the 17670 to fully drop in. I just need that last 30% bored ever so slightly.
Anyone in southern California able to do this for me? I'm in the San Gabriel Valley, so preferably someone around here, LA county, San Fernando Valley, Torrance, Anaheim, or similar areas would be great so I can get to you easily.
If no one, can anyone offer suggestions on how I could do it without equipment? The rear of the tube (where it's smaller ID) is smaller to fit the tailcap, so I'd assume I have to get to it from the front, but how do I get something in there 70-100% down the tube to sand/bore it out? A chopstick wrapped in sandpaper?
