Need help SpiderFire X550 cree x5 led

Hello,
i'm trying to find information about SpiderFire X550 cree x5 LED dimmer.

My friend put batteries conversely and blow a dimmer of light bulbs.

Does any body know what kind of dimmer i need? Because china manufacturer wipe off all information from dimmer.

There is the photo of part what i need.

hmmmm that driver looks suspiciously like some new Dealextreme/KAidomain drivers....

or you can read the writing on the chip and canibalize another make for a similar one

I would replace the entire board, you don't know what other components may be damaged just because they don't look totally fried.

Hi. Your chip is MC34063A, but in other side of the board are two transistors and they probably blowen. It is D882 transistors and they can be changed with a little biger 2sc5707 transistors. Good luck.
