Guys:
A while back I bought these tool holders from Shar's and they don't carry the inserts for them or were out... I was wondering if anyone can help with where I can just give them this info and they can sell me what I need. The world of inserts is vast and I don't know where to begin. If someone can explain how to go about this I would really appreciate it.
Thanks. These are the model # and specs.

Well, I need to hone my insert/tool holder numbering skills too. Let me take a whirl at it, and others can jump in and straighten us both out if need be...

First off, Look here, at page 11:

http://www.ccpa.org/pdf/B212_4.pdf

Now, for your SVVCN-12, the insert designator will start with the letter 'V', since you need a

...Oh wait, try looking at Shars' catalog here:

http://www.shars.com/files/products/catalog2010/page42.pdf

You'll see you need a VCMT insert. Plug VCMT* into eBay... You need one with the number '2' after the VCMT... The next number needs to be 1.5. (read my first link to understand the meaning of these numbers) The remaining numbers pertain to the radius of the cutting point. Good luck...

You might be stuck with Shars for it and the grooving tools.

MTENN - again, go to Shars, see they specify a TNMG 33 insert. Plug TNMG* into eBay, look for inserts that have a '33' indicating the proper size and thickness. Pick your radius...

Got the hang of it? It's work, eh? ;)
