Hello Group;
I'm looking to buy a charger for a Kowalski Dive light that was left at my bar (it's a sunset bar in the Caribbean). I'm not sure of the model, but the serial number is 52953 and it appears to have contact points where the ON/OFF swith is on the back of the light. I've tried emailing Lighthouse many times, but the emails went unanswered.

The light appears to be the 620M and if possible I'll need a North American plug type charger

Thanks in Advance
AE

Welcome to CPF, loaferoatan.

I'll move your thread into our Dive Lighting sub-forum, as our divers there may be able to give you a pointer. Normally, I'd ask you to post this as a WTB in CPF MarketPlace, but first let's see if any of our divers can help you.

Firstly I am sure that you have made every effort to return the torch to its owner :poke:

The best way of checking what you have is to open it up.
(remove small grub screw to allow end cap/handle to slide out) you will see the battery pack.
If it is 6 sub-c NiMh arranged in three sticks of two, it is one of the 620 range.

The 6 sub-c form a 7.2v pack and any suitable pack charger / tamiya charger could be made to work with some banana plugs to fit the charge sockets. You can connect the sockets up either way +ve/-ve in either socket.

If it looks like it is made of 18650 cells then it is a Maxum (as shown on their current site) and you will need a Li-Ion charger.

A picture may be worth a long description.
*edit - I see Doh!Nut's beaten me too it

You dont need a charger, but only a power supply.
Kowalski lamps are made for outside charging (housing must not be open for charging).
Lamps with outside charging have the charging electronic inside the lamp and need for charging only a power supply.
