Vinhn,

What can you do as far as a triple emitter in a Surefire E series head?
i would like the brightest bang for the buck, short burst only turbo OK.
would it be possible to have something 3.7v -> 14v ?
$$?

Thanks!

Hey Vinh,
Got my Mini back today.

Great work, I thought it was nearly impossible to take one apart. The 219 tint is slightly cooler than my HDS 219 but the color renditioning still looks good.
I panicked a bit when I considered that maybe the current on the max setting might be too high for the 219 but it turns out that the XP-G and 219 both have a maximum drive current of 1.5A.

What's the Brightest compact light I have ever modded?!

The Niteye Eye40vn! I was like O Crap!!! I was amazed! This thing has got to put out over 5000 Lumen now. If you got one of these I strongly urge you to send it over to me.

This is a customer light by the way.

Dual reflector OP and Smooth paired with Dome and Dedome + current boost. Incredibly nice beam and tint! I wished more lights used this set up.

Just curious Vinh, have you ever setup a multi-led light with either different emitters or with domed and dedomed of the same emitters? Take for example the TK75. If you put two dedomed and one domed would it give the light a nice throw and fill or would it just mess up the beam pattern? Just wondering....

Wow, that's a novel idea. Now you've got me wondering...

Vinh, you modded that X6 and said it was better without dedoming. Any guesses to how it would turn out if you dedomed say, just the center LED, or maybe the center and 2 more and then left the others with dome on for more spill/fill?

A quad p60 with two dedomed XPE2 & two domed XPG2 might be amazing ...
If u could find a quad copper PCB ....
And you would need an aluminum slug etc.

Hello, is it possible to upgrade Nitecore EX-10/OSRAM Golden Dragon Plus led to Nichia 219 or XP-G2 without changing driver? It looks like OSRAM led is small comparing to other modern led's so I'm not sure if the reflector will fit a new led correctly and what will the beam look like... what do You think?

Yes I think I can do it.
