Newly Enlightened
Hello all,
I have been a lurker for the most part for a while now, but need some advice.
As a result of what I have read on these forums I have made a few purchases.
1) Fenix LOD. My key chain EDC.
2) Arc EDC light. Loved this light till I bought the Fenix. Now it has been moved to my glove compartment.
3) Nitecore D-10. Very nice light that runs AA's.
4) Jetbeam Jet II Pro. Similar output to the D-10 but runs on CR-123's.
5) Malkoff drop-ins for both a 3 and a 4 D cell Maglite. These made a huge difference to 2 flashlights that were almost worthless for anything but door stops.
6) Previous to CPF had a Lightwave 4000 Pro that runs on D's and a Lightwave 2000 Pro that runs on AA's.
Ok, that's what I have... now, my question is what is the best batteries for the lights I have? And, if the answer is Nimh, then which batteries should I buy and which charger to keep them going? Also, which on line dealer? Please be specific.
Up to now, I have ran alkaline D's, Duracell 123's and both alkaline and lithium AA's.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this and for your help.
Bob
