Help Support Candle Power:

Yup a triple SSC P7 is going to be crazy bright

BTW a SSC P7 is the name of the emitter ... the LED

The reflector in the link you provide is for a different LED, the Cree R2 or Q5
Its not going to work unless you mod the reflector, probably by enlarging the
openings where the LEDs go.

What host are you going to use for your mod ?

Have you read StefanFS's excellent tutorial on a tri P7 Maglite build ?
You can find it here

The P7 on the 21mm base probably won't fit on that triple reflector. The bases will most likely overlap. The P7's dome is also much larger in diameter compared to a Cree XR-E. You'll have to drill out the reflector openings to accommodate the P7.

The P7 in your first link is claimed to be a C flux bin. The P7 in your second link is advertised to be a B flux bin. PhotonFanatic in the Dealer's Corner on CPF MP sells DSVNI-bin P7s, which will give you the max lumens.

Everything has been covered.

Drill out reflectors.

The bases will be too large to fit.

Use an anodized heatsink to protect from short circuit, and use bare emitters.

The beam might not be great though. Considering you are using a cree reflector with an SSC emitter.

Even using bare emitters and drilling out the holes, it still might be a close call for space.

They sell a 3xssc p7 kit on here.

If you're going to go with that reflector, you'll want Cree MC-E's instead of the SSC P7 emitter. If you really want the SSC P7's, get the D-bins from user Photon Fanatic (or kaidomain), and consider the head sink, reflectors, and driver offered by user Der Wichtel.
