Need some machining done

Hi,

I need some machining done. Basically I need 2x sleeves made of either, Steel or AL or Copper.

Currently I have one of the the sleeves, but I need the second.
The first is of Copper material I believe.
I need to have both sleeves the same material.
The shorter one is 19mm long.
The longer one which I don’t have, I have measured it needs to be 28 mm long.
Is 8 mm outside diameter and 6.4 mm inside, so these dimensions are same for both.
So I need two of them one 19mm and the other 28mm long.

The first thig you will get is "what tolerance are you are looking for".

If you don't need exact dimensions you can buy steel tube and cut whatever lenght you need.

This one for example is 7.94mm OD and 6.16mm ID

This may actually work, when I get home ill measure the screws outside diameter again, I think the second may be a good fit.

Spacers might be cheaper. 8mm is almost the same as 5/16": http://www.mcmaster.com/#unthreaded-spacers/=j5wdz7

You would have to ream out the inside, however. The largest ID shown is 0.192"

Lowe's has a specialty hardware section where they have small sleeves like this as well.

I did check Lowe's some time back, but I did not find the correct size.
