Sold/Expired NEOCA BL CR2 - use next thread please

Re: NEOCA BL CR2 - 6 DAYS TO GO (Extended: 2/23)

Alright, what is up with everyone changing their minds to the NG400? Is the NG500 a bit too much current or is it a heat issue? With all the choices here, can someone shed some "light" on this converter issue?? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/help.gif

Re: NEOCA BL CR2 - 6 DAYS TO GO (Extended: 2/23)

I wanted the NG400 from the beginning because I think there will be a lot more difference in the runtime and the heat than there will be in the brightness of the light. 25% more heat, at least 25% less runtime is not worth the penalty for me.

Re: NEOCA BL CR2 - 6 DAYS TO GO (Extended: 2/23)

The difference between 350mA and 500mA is almost negligible in brightness, but it makes a whole lot of difference in runtime. These are from my own observations, and Carpe Diem has had similar experiences with the two versions of the Katokichi Itchishiki as well.

You'll get a lot more runtime, and very little change in brightness, if you got with 350-400mA instead of 500mA.

Re: NEOCA BL CR2 - 6 DAYS TO GO (Extended: 2/23)

Pablo,

Can you please change both of my lights to NG400 as well?

Many Thanks

I feel a wave of change happening! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/happy14.gif

Re: NEOCA BL CR2 - 6 DAYS TO GO (Extended: 2/23)

Pablo,

Only a small inconsistency: The other blue sandblasted models are listed under "Special Orders", while mine are listed under "Standard Black".

Re: NEOCA BL CR2 - 6 DAYS TO GO (Extended: 2/23)

I'm convinced too.

Pablo, pls change mine to NG400, HA3 natural. Thanks

Re: NEOCA BL CR2 - 6 DAYS TO GO (Extended: 2/23)

Ok, i'm convinced too.
Please re-change mine to NG400, Blue-Beadblasted /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Thanks

Re: NEOCA BL CR2 - 6 DAYS TO GO (Extended: 2/23)

Im going to mod my NG500 with a dual stage for extended runtime

Re: NEOCA BL CR2 - 6 DAYS TO GO (Extended: 2/23)

Oh Oh! the final countdown. <music=on>
Please revised my standard black to HA3 Natural.

Thanx, Jonathan

Re: NEOCA BL CR2 - 6 DAYS TO GO (Extended: 2/23)

CromagNet - How would you do a dual stage? Would you use a FF switch from the sandwich shoppe?

Re: NEOCA BL CR2 - 6 DAYS TO GO (Extended: 2/23)

I would like the extra runtime, however, I wonder how much it will effect the tint of the LUX3 going down to 400mAh?

May I have one? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I too would like to know the answer to this as I am interested in modding an Ichishiki flashlight to use a 2 stage capability.

Thanks.

Re: NEOCA BL CR2 - 6 DAYS TO GO (Extended: 2/23)

400 versus 500 ?

The way I read the McGizmo runtime graphs that Pablo provided in the first thread, the NG500 board was 10% brighter but the NG400 ran 30 % longer. For my uses the 10% brightness loss will hardly be noticed, but the extra 30% runtime will be greatly appreciated. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif
