Parts are being machined right now.

Here are the 1st photos I took in the CNC shop an hour ago.

I guess they will be finished this week, depending on the availability of the machining center, needed to do the tailcap keyhole and the heatsink holes.

Not only the photos, I went to the shop because they saw a potential problem in the blue prints (oring placeholder) and we (emphasis on WE) worked next to the machine to find the best solution /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

the shop is in Avellaneda, so Independiente or Racing is more appropiate /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

one is standard black w/NG500

The other 2 pcs are bare aluminum w/NG500

UPDATE:

A picture is worth a 1000 words:

(I know many will ask, that thing at the side is a mate, its an infusion, google for yerba mate)


This is the first finished production unit /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The only parts that need to be finished are:

heatsink post lathe work (holes)
tailcap key ring attachment.



Today I went to the anno shop with all the pieces pictured in a previous post and asked them to hard annodize in different colors according to this table:

black minimum beadblast
blue medium beadblast
blue higher beadblast
green
violet
red
yellow
(Natural I already posted the color so no need for that one.)



As soon all the parts are here and the color samples are ready to be seen. I will close the order thread.

The stars & reflectors are still on the way here.
And after I close the order I will purchase the converters from the shoppe.

PEU, please put me on "the list" for:
NEOCA BL / NextGen500 = $150+10 S/H
in black or natural HA

On a side note, think of Yerba Mate as a loose leaf tea that you drink through a straw with a strainer built in.

2 x beadblasted + special color + ng500=$170*2=$340
1 finish and 1 color if you order 2 are free so=$320
then comes the 10% off, so $320 - 10%= $288

UPDATE:

Full size image

This photo shows the difference between standard brass (head) and the actual NEOCA BL one (base).

It keeps the shine for weeks as opposed to 1 day in brass.
