New 4 led - CCFL at Discovery Store

This light just looks cool, even if pricey! Being powered by 4 AAs, you'd think it might be ripe for a lux mod of some kind, too. Anyone have one?

Also a unique feature: you can have the leds and CCFL on at the same time. Get those Nimh cells out to deal with the current drain... It looks to be a bit better quality than some other CCFL combo lights are, judging solely from the pics.

This light was given to me as a gift a year ago and I returned it after trying it. The quality was poor overall and the CCFL had an annoying flicker. I find my cheap Energizer LED/CCFL combo from Walmart much more useful.

I find the LED in energizer CCFLs too annoying to be useful often. I tore my doublebright apart to see if I could mod the LED in it and found it either glued or melted together to the point reassembling it wasn't much of an option so I gutted it to put the CCFL in a rayovac kids lantern.
