There is a very interesting new AAA light coming out by Peak called the Eiger. It uses a Rebel 0100 LED with a small custom optic. The package should be very small since they are using their existing Matterhorn body. For those not familiar, the Matterhorn is similar in size to the ARC AAA. This is a unique configuration and the beam should be interesting. I think there may be 2 beam profiles available but the medium should offer a good compromise between flood and throw and is said to have spill as well.
While the Peak lights only have 1 output level, you do have the option of selecting the drive level for the light. There is some good information in the Peak thread/forum about runtimes and outputs. It looks like it will be an efficient little package.
Peak has been around for a long time and does not get a whole lot of recognition. I think they make some nice solid lights. The also offer a variety of metals to choose from.
I just stumbled across the information since I do not regularly visit the Peak thread and thought others would be interested as well.
