Parameters:
Camera - Canon Powershot G5, manual mode
ISO 100, f2.8, 1 sec, Jpeg max quality, "neutral" color preset
WB was set manually to midday Sun light (not "Daylight" preset in camera!)
Color rendition is VERY REAL.

First set distance = 25 meters
Second set distance = 2 meters (exposure ISO 50, f3.5, 1/6 sec).

Thanks for the post and the great link! Using an indoor shooting range and targets is a excellent idea. It is an environment that most of us can relate to and it gives us a good relative picture.

My one year of high school Russian leaves me a little short of being able to read the posts, but the pictures really do stand on their own.
