New Buell Motorcycle

Apparantly Buell has teamed up with Rotax to produce a 1125cc 140+ horsepower sportbike. I was afraid that they'd get rid of the belt-type final-drive, but it looks like they didn't. Those guys do a great job of thinking outside the box, too - on this model, they didn't have a second bracket on the back to hold the rear brake.. instead, to save weight, they just mounted it directly to the swingarm! That's usin' the old noodle.

Cool bike! Good to see that they are putting something other than a Harley Davidson lawn mower engine into the thing! Looks like the bike will have a really nice power curve.

I am not a huge fan of Buells. The wheelbases seem short and the Buells I have ridden all seem kind of twitchy. Pretty bikes anyway.
