New \"Double Bright\" Combo Light...

Anybody seen THIS?

It looks like the Arc White but instead of an incan spot out front, it now features a "bright LED spotlight". Just wondering if it's a Luxeon...

Now if they gave us SOME CLUE what type of battery or batteries it uses, we might be able to guess at the LED type.

Of course they would also have to define "run time" /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hmmm, 100-hour battery runs doesn't bode well for it being a Luxeon. Oh well...

Probably a spot light in the sense that a 4AA Dorcy is a spotlight (200 hrs. on 4AA).

It looks like it has 'Brinkman' style optics on the front end there... I'm guessing it's a single 5mm nichia behindthe lens. Still, for the right price I'd buy one.

Time to mod it!
It looks to be a 4AA type light, throw an Everled in there to handle the voltage and go for it. Hmmmmm, might be the perfect light for me! Need to look into this...
