Does any body have any idea when fenix is coming out with new models. Like maybe a T2 without that stupid clip. Black in color 300 lumens or more. Hope someone from fenix reads this. :poke:I would definatly be there i own the p3d rebel and the rebel lod love them both just got a wicked laser 5mw very cool.

You had me excited for a split second then! I thought they'd actually brought something new out again! I've ordered an Olive/Clipless T1 from Fenix store, they're not shipping till 01/16 so you've still got time to order one.

Sorry dude i knew that tag line would work! I just love fenix. They come out with great new stuff all the time and i cant wait to see what they have for me next!

Still waiting for a 300 or more lumen output to upgrade on my p3d rebel though.

Might be waiting awhile on that one. We'll probably be waiting until we see something better than R5 bin Cree's to get 300 lumens out the front.

Not sure what a Cree R5 should do at 1A. Maybe if they ever have Cree S5 bins. :)

Is the only reason why the black T1 is $10 more than the olive due to the color? Or is there anything else?

lets turn this into a suggestion thread for the next fenix T light!

for one thing i want adjustable focus!! when i turn the head, instead of switching between high and low... the contact between the head and the body can easily get grimy and it gets harder and harder to get it to shine at full brightness unless you keep on wiping the contacts clean... instead i would like 2 switches on the torch, one to turn it on/off and one to turn it high/low, it would be a more reliable and easy way to do it that way
otherwise, the T1 as it is , is already a pretty good light

The main thing I would like to see is 18650 support.

Other than that, a Rebel version would be nice since the color is so much more usable outdoors (in the snow especially).

I see they are now offering 2 types of reflectors -- not sure if they can be easily changed, but that is important as well.

Easily upgradable "pills" would be another important feature.

Of course now that I think about it, I pretty much just described a DBS with the exception of the Rebel version -- hmmm...

The P3D and T1 have 17670 support.

The reflectors can be easily changed. It screws out just like the switch unit

The emitter is upgradeable, all you need is to thermal epoxy another one in, and solder 2 wires.

The T1 really is pretty simple and upgradeable inside if you look at the pictures of it taken fully apart.

But it's all assuming the bezel can be taking apart, which apparently is glued shut like fort knox on most people's light.

But if yours is not, you are $10 away from the next brightest LED.
