For the most part, I've relyed on my Princeton Tec Blast's or Attitude for my flashlight needs. Recently however, I decided I wanted something a bit better and brighter. Let me tell ya, if you're not too savvy(like me) about flashlights in general, the choices are dizzying to say the least.
Did a little research, however, and in the end I bought a Fenix E20. Just came in the mail yesterday, so I've yet to wring it out much. Messing with it in the yard last night though, I have to say that the brightness and the throw really impressed me. The Blast's are pretty bright little lights, but this Fenix is something else.
Got to say I'm pretty happy with it all-in-all.

I also have this one and its really a great light.
After that light I got myself a multimode light, maybe that the next step for you, useful for longer runtimes. My e20 last 3 hours on a set of batteries.

An E20 was my first "quality" LED light as well, and still one of my favorites. I've been in this flashlight thing for about 4 mos. now and have been averaging about a light a month now.

Despite that I have a couple of Quarks, a NiteCore EZ, and another Fenix that I gave to a good buddy, as well as a couple of iTP's and terralux mag upgrades on order, I use my E20 regularly. It lives on my desk or nightstand and is my 'around the house' light that I use for taking out the trash, small jobs around the house, etc. The focusing beam is great and the simple on/off interface make it the first thing I grab when I need a light.

And, the E20 fits perfectly in anything that a mini mag would fit in as well. Icing on the cake.
:welcome:
