It's been a long while since I have been thru the whole catalog over at kaidomain, they have some really interesting new stuff. One thing in particular that caught my eye is an incan fat headed 3x 18650 (long) light called the Solarforce L1200.

It has some impressive size to it and even beamshots that look amazing. Plenty of pics of the light source, looks to be some sort of 1185 size bulb? I like the body size of 18650 and it has the fat tailcap I like too. No reviews yet, it's $130 which is high for kd but not high at all for a light built like this. I'm thinkin one of these might have to find its way to my house. Anybody had any experience with it? Incan + 3x18650 + big reflector ftw. If you haven't been thru the "xenon" section over there (led heads like me), go check it out. Lots of new good looking lights that are cheaper.

ps: 2nd note: check out this one too, 3x q5 on 3x18650 too. I'm diggin the menu scroll buttons on the side :D

I like where the manufacturers are going with this trend. I love my tiny lights, but I also can't do without my big mags. I often wish my mags would run a big light on lithium batts.

I have a couple kd and dx no name type led lights that are pretty dang nice. I don't think I ever paid more than 35 bucks for one but considering they are as bright as any comparable namebrand as far as specs, the finish usually looks more like paint than anodizing but they work pretty well. I am not at all afraid of em, nothing but good experiences so far. I might just have to give this one a try. Figured somebody must have already, but no reviews so maybe it's brand new. I'll post up if I do. ;)
