New LEO lights introduced

At a booth at the Trexpo West law enforcement convention in Long Beach California last week, an extensive line of US made Mission Critical LED flashlights was introduced. These lights were designed specifically for the law enforcement community. The list below if from the handout.

Vein Illuminator IV 1: A 4 watt high power medical LED flashlight with a special lens assembly designed to change the sometimes difficult IV cathode insertion into a single stick procedure. This light is used to locate veins in the hand or foot and will penetrate up to 1-1/4 inches of non-muscular tissue. Veins appear as black lines in a translucent background. Retail $

Rainer: A small 200 Lumen pocket backup light that uses a single rechargeable RCR123A Lithium-Ion battery, 1 inch head diameter by 3-3/4 inches long with a tail operated momentary switch. Retail $

Night Patrol - NP270S: A single output level 270 Lumen primary duty light that uses a single 18650, or two RCR123A Lithium-Ion rechargeable batteries or two CR123A Lithium batteries. Retail $

Night Patrol - NP350S: A single output level 350 Lumen primary duty light that uses a single 18650, or two RCR123A Lithium-Ion rechargeable batteries or two CR123A Lithium batteries. Retail $

Night Patrol – NP270A:A 270 Lumen adjustable output primary duty light that uses a single 18650, or two RCR123A Lithium-Ion rechargeable batteries or two CR123A Lithium batteries. Retail $

Hm.. These actually sound pretty intriguing.

However.. I googled them and found this:

On page one this sub-forum the following threads are (1) New Pelican 8060; (2) New Ra Lights; (3) 900 Lumen Eagle Tac; (4) The Strion LED is out; (5) New mini Solarforce L2. No prices were listed and no manufacturer named. As far as Lumen output those are advertising numbers and considering the advances in LED technology they are not out of line with other manufactures Lumen listed outputs. A new 0220 K2 driven at 1.5 amps has an output of 300 lumens and a P7 at 2 amps will hit 400.

This sub-forum is the best place to inform LEOs of new flashlights that have been designed and made in the US for their special requirements.

At this time there is only place that handles these lights and they are not up on the manufacturers website. If I have made an error in this announcement and have broken any listing rules I apologize.

Looks like Peak LED Solutions names to me (except for the vein illuminator perhaps :p), and the descriptions match too. :shrug: If so these are mostly old news, albeit still great lights.

oh nice, it's out! been wanting this light ever since Robyn gave us a few teaser pics in the peak forum.

Im definitly going to order one on my next buying spree.
