New material under development to replace lithium cobaltite in Li-ion batteries

Here is a link to news of a new material under development to improve upon lithium cobaltite. This material is sodium cobaltite, so I guess batteries made using this material would be dubbed Na-ion. It's still a long way from becoming a battery though...
