New Minneapolis bridge!

Saw on CNN today that the now-open I-35W bridge in Minneapolis is the first in the US to have LED lighting.

Pretty cool!

I saw on my local news a feature highlighting (no pun intended) the local company responsible for creating the bridges LED lighting system. They didn't go into detail about the emitters but it looked like an array of about 160 reflectors in each lamp unit.

Another great product from the proud people of Wisconsin.
