Not being a big Surefire fan, I recently heard about one that had a gun mount, multi-mode and infrared.

If anyone has a link, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Probably not a SF. The only multi-mode w/IR that I'm aware of is Inova's Inforce, which can be mounted (and Inova offers a pressure swicth for it).

I'll try to get a model number but I'm pretty sure it was Surefire.

I think it's a Mil/Tac thing.

Looks like the V2L Vampire lights will be White LED and IR LED in the same head.

SureFire is introducing their "Vampire" Series of selectable output illumination tools.
Selectable output meaning the bezel features both a white light LED, and an IR light LED and a simple user interface to switch between the output 'colours'.

The Millennium Universal WeaponLight Series has been bitten resulting in the M952V. See CPF thread here

The same KM3 Lamp Module ('Bezel') will feature on the V2L Vampire which is essentially a K2 Kroma body and two-stage push button pressure switch TailCap giving the V2L a low output as well as the selectable white light / IR light.

Obviously this is pre-production information and subject to change etc.
As a concept is has been a long time coming - lets hope we don't have to wait too long for SureFire to realise their Vampire Lights.

Al :)

I might just have to buy some night vision equipment just for the hell of it when the new V2L Vampire drops. :D
